Everything you need to do before show day so we can focus 100% on making you look elite.
The best shoots happen when the client shows up prepared. Not just physically — mentally. When you walk in knowing exactly what you want, we can spend every minute creating instead of figuring it out on the fly.
Plan your outfits. Lay them out. Bring at least 2–3 looks even for a mini session — variety gives us options and makes the final gallery way more interesting. Steam or iron everything. Wrinkled clothes read on camera more than you'd think.
Look up references. Pull 5–10 images from Instagram or Pinterest that match the vibe you're going for. Don't worry about whether the exact shot is possible — just give me a mood board to work from.
Screenshot everything into one folder on your phone so you're not scrolling at the shoot.
Sleep. Seriously. Tired eyes and puffiness show on camera, especially in close-up portraits. Drink water — skin and eyes look dramatically better when you're hydrated. Skip the heavy eye drops right before.
Eat something light. Not a feast, not nothing. You want energy without looking bloated. And please — show up on time. We lose golden light fast on outdoor shoots.
Trust the process. A lot of people freeze up in front of a camera — that's completely normal. We'll warm up with some movement shots before going into the portfolio-level frames. The more relaxed you are, the more natural the images look.
"The best photo isn't about perfect posing. It's about real energy captured in the right light." — Justshxrm
Bring a change of shoes, accessories, and backup options. Even if we don't use them, having options prevents last-minute stress.
2–3 outfits ready. Reference images saved. Phone charged. Water bottle packed. Location confirmed. Arrive 10–15 min early. That's it. The rest is on me.
